Project and Installation Manager

Tim Carey is the Project and Installation Manager at CCS Presentation Systems Mid Atlantic. Tim joined the CCS team in 2024 and manages all installation projects from contract approval to completion sign-off. He has over 20 years of experience in the commercial AV industry. His first job was as a rack fabrication assistant, and he has worked his way up through all levels of field installation, engineering, sales, training, and project management. He holds numerous certifications including an AVIXA CTS Certification, HDBaseT Expert Certification, Creston training certifications, as well as being Biamp Tesira and Vocia certified.

When Tim is not working at CCS or spending weekend evenings behind a sound board at local Baltimore venues, he enjoys homebrewing and going to the park with his kids. He draws inspiration from his family, believing that the magic and creativity that young minds possess is incredible. He works towards the goal of making a meaningful contribution to leave the world in a better place for his children. His favorite quote as a married man is “no good deed goes unpunished.”

Tim loves the tech business, and he loves people—making project management easy to approach in a constantly-changing business field. System training and turnover is his favorite part of the project lifecycle, and he loves seeing customers light up when they get to experience their new systems for the first time.
